Animation
Principles

A consistent motion language ensures every graphic in the series feels unified. Spring physics provide organic, natural movement at 24fps.

Entrance
Elements enter from the left or bottom, following natural reading direction. Never enter from random directions.
Exit
Reverse of entrance, or simple opacity fade. Exit animations are always faster than entrances.
⦿
Easing
Spring physics for primary movements. Ease-out for fades. Never use linear motion on UI elements.
Stagger
8-15 frames between sequential elements at 24fps. Creates a rhythmic build without feeling sluggish.
Overshoot
Subtle 2-5% overshoot on springs. Clamped (no overshoot) on text elements to maintain readability.
Consistency
Same element type always animates identically across all videos. Builds viewer familiarity and trust.

Spring Configurations

Use Case Damping Stiffness Mass Character
Panel Slides 12-15 100-120 1 Smooth, controlled arrival
Text Reveals 18-20 150 1 Quick, crisp settle
Icon Bounces 8-10 80-100 1 Playful, visible overshoot
Subtle Scale 20 200 1 Nearly imperceptible
Logo Entrance 14 100 1 Confident, weighty
